Jennifer Lopez said her twins have very different personalities. She said: “Max is like Marc. He’s got Marc’s lungs, and he screams and he’s strong, very boyish. Emme’s very delicate and quiet, but you can’t mess with her.”

Kind of sounds like Emme might take after her mom, doesn’t it? And little Max might just be the next Salsa star. What do you think?

She also put those lame rumors to rest about her not wanting more kids because she’s too selfish. She said, “I’d love to have more kids. I don’t know when, we’ll see, you know, that’s the same way my first ones happened! We’ll just do it the same way for the second time.”

Marc Anthony: Singing Is In My Blood

September 8, 2008 by Cherie

Here’s another reason Jennifer Lopez’s twins are bound to be musically inclined. Not only is J-Lo an incredible talent, but Marc Anthony is the world’s most successful salsa singer in his own right. He’s says music and singing has been in his blood as long as he can remember.

Marc tells one source he never gets stage fright and just has fun while in front of a crowd. He says, “I came from a musical family. My dad was a singer … my dad put me in his show from the time I was 3 years old.”

Hmmm, wonder if Max and Emme will follow in those footsteps? They’ve already been on tour with their daddy when they were just a few months old!

Marc is burning up sales at every stop he makes on this tour. As we’ve already mentioned, Jennifer Lopez is on tour with him along with his twins, Max and Emme so he’s got to be a happy guy these days. He’s got a successful music career and his family along by his side.

Who could ask for more?

Here’s part of his Tenerife concert:

and another snippet:

Marc puts on a great show, and every once in a while Jennifer Lopez makes an appearance just to say hi, like she did here in Gran Canaria:

Marc also gave a press conference at his hotel before the concert. He talked for five minutes but did not answer any reporters questions. What’s up with that? And did his outfit, he looks like he has PJ’s on:

Oh well, I guess J-Lo’s style didn’t rub off on him this trip.

Besides being busy with the “nightshift” in watching the twins, Marc Anthony is recording three studio albums. Billboard reports that he’s working with Billy Joel and Babyface to make a pop album. He’s also recording an album full of Spanish ballads and a “tropical” album.

They’re all coming out at the end of the year. Looks like J-Lo isn’t the only workaholic in the family!

Marc Anthony In the Guinness Book of Records: Take Note Pete Wentz!

April 23, 2008 by Cherie

I never realized Marc Anthony was so funny! He has a great personality, and it really comes out during his appearance last year on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Jay is asking him about what he got Jennifer Lopez for her b’day (nothing!) and how long it would take her to get ready for a night out during their tour. He’s very charming and down to earth.

I also never realized until now that Marc is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the top salsa singer of all time, and has held that title for the last seven years. Very impressive! I know Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy was trying to get his band into the record book, so maybe he can take inspiration from Marc.

Here’s Marc’s Tonight Show segment. He’s on promoting El Cantante but he talks about a lot more than that:
