Out of Sight Sexiest Movie

In a new Entertainment Weekly counts down the 50 sexiest movies ever made, with J-Lo’s Out of Sight. A source in Detroit seems to think it’s BECAUSE the movie was shot in Detroit. I tend to think it has to do with Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney. But hey - whatever works.
Out of Sight includes scenes “shot in Detroit and the ‘burbs.”
But the best scene at all has to be this one:

J-Lo and Marc Anthony Make a Lot of Money - So Says Forbes Magazine

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are 19th on the list of Hollywood’s 20 Top-Earning Couples.
Forbes (the mag that puts together the list) said that the “Reigning king and queen of Latin-crossover music added to their clan this year with the birth of their twins in February 2008. J-Lo earned $7 million from the release of Brave, her sixth studio album, and a lucrative line of fragrances. She and her hubby, who made $4 million last year, earned mucho dinero as co-headliners in last year’s “En Concierto” tour.”
Others on the list include Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Victoria and David Beckham, and Jen’s ex, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
Notice anything about this list? A lot of these folks are pals! Coincidence?
Jennifer Lopez on List of Most Powerful Celebrities

Forbes has completed it’s list of the world’s most powerful and best paid celebs. Our very own J-Lo is on the list. (Of course!) Where does she rank? I’ll tell ya in a minute.
First, Forbes doesn’t go just by income alone. Being powerful, in their estimation, comes from earnings, but then “factors in media metrics like Google hits, press mentions as compiled by Factiva, TV/radio mentions from Lexis/Nexis and the number of times an A-lister appears on the cover of more than 50 consumer magazines” is also taken into consideration. Power, it seems, involves “buzz” and exposure as well as income.
As an aside, Jen’s ex Sean Combs ranked 33rd on the list.

And Jennifer Lopez?. She ranked 54th on the list. Smack dad in the middle. I’d say given that she hasn’t been in many movies lately and has taken some time off for motherhood, this is pretty good. Jen has done some solid branding of herself, and the affect is that she doesn’t need to be working like to dog to maintain her high-power status. Still, Jen DOES work all the time, and that’s one thing we admire about her.
