Jennifer Lopez wore three different dresses to the inaugural events. Which one is your favorite?

First choice: Blue strapless gown from the Latino Inaugural Gala

My two cents: I loved this gown on her! The hair was dramatic but I think it suited the occasion. Also, the makeup seemed to go very well with the rest of her outfit. All of it really tied together. The blue really stood out, and with J-Lo wearing it, how could it not?

Second choice: A gold Chanel dress at the Artist and Athletes Inaugural Ball

My two cents: I absolutely hate this one. The dress and shoes look like something from Grandma would wear. The dress is not flattering, and the front of it looks like a Halloween costume. I don’t even like her makeup on here.

Third choice: White, one shoulder gown from Western Inaugural Ball (where she sang duet with Marc Anthony)

My two cents: I love this gown as well. It’s simply beautiful with her hair and skin tone. I think it fits well and seems to move as elegantly as J-Lo does. This one might be my favorite!

Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony were out and about at the inauguration yesterday.

Marc entertained the crowd at the Western Inaugural Ball, and then called Jennifer up on stage to sing with him for the last song. He said, “I wrote this next song about Jennifer. I must have been psychic,” (because he wrote it a decade ago.) They sang and kissed throughout the song. Then Marc said, “Man, she’s cute,” before heading off of stage.

So sweet. That certainly puts to rest the marriage trouble rumors. Here are some photos from the event:

Entertainment Tonight interviewed Jennifer (while Marc glared at her for some reason) and she talked about being part of the inauguration festivities, Michelle Obama’s dress, and performing at the ball. Check out this video.

Was Jennifer Lopez trying for another “green Versace dress moment” at the Golden Globes?

You remember the green dress. Or should I say THE GREEN DRESS.

David Duchovny wisely called attention to THE DRESS as he and Jennifer were about the present:

Anywho, I kind of liked J-Lo’s gold dress at the Golden Globes, but it did seem like something was OFF. Her hair, perhaps? Makeup?

But one source thinks she was trying to pull off another green dress moment by showing so much skin. They think she is trying to call attention to herself since she’s having problems in her marriage. They even went so far as to call it “desperate.”

What do you think?

Too much skin for a 39-year old woman? Even one as in shape and gorgeous as J-Lo?

There are also more pictures of her from the red carpet. She looks very relaxed and happy, which she didn’t in some of the other pictures I’d seen. I prefer her posing like this rather than those more “stern” looks she sometimes gives.

As I mentioned, Jennifer Lopez was the very first presenter of the evening at tonight’s Golden Globe awards ceremony. The shiny gold award must have inspired her, because she dressed in a slinky gold gown down to there. Her hair was pulled back (severely so, I’m afraid) and she looked great… but not as great as she did at the Benjamin Button premiere.

Incidentally, Jennifer and Marc Anthony looked very cozy together. There were quite a few shots from the night of him rubbing her shoulders and leaning in to her. They clearly looked like a happy couple to me!

Since Jennifer Lopez is a presenter tonight on the Golden Globes, I thought it might be fun to go back over her previous Golden Globes outfits.

Here’s J-Lo’s outfit from 2007. This is one of my personal favorites:

She looked AWESOME in this outfit, and Marc looked just as great:

They made a handsome looking pair. Joan Rivers thought so too. She did her usual “schtick” of interviewing guests beforehand and she was actually speechless when it came to J-Lo. There was a point in the following video where Jennifer turned around to show the back of her dress, so be sure to watch for it:

Jennifer skipped a couple Globes ceremonies, and the next one back is 2004. Her dress generally did not get high rankings this year:

The peach did nothing for her hair or skin tone. I also didn’t like her hair. I wasn’t alone. The Fashion Police weren’t fond of it either:

At the 2001 Golden Globes, J-Lo came with Matthew McConaughey. They had just done The Wedding Planner and looked very cute and stylish together on the red carpet.

(I even liked his hair that way!)

I didn’t love J-Lo’s dress that year either:

Too clingy in all the wrong places.

There was no Golden Globes broadcast last year (because of the writer’s strike), so it will be especially fun to see it again this year. Aren’t you dying to see what J-Lo has on this year?

Oh well, I guess I’ll just deal with the fact that this time Vitton has not chosen someone like our Jennifer Lopez. But here’s the best quote about this I’ve read yet:

“Madonna, who is getting divorced from Guy Ritchie over issues ranging from sex to Kabbalah water, is enjoying being the face of the fashion giant.”

Doesn’t that just make you giggle?

Jennifer Lopez looks great in any color, of course, but one fan of hers put together a video of all her best white outfits. I like that Jen changes her makeup and hair for each outfit. She’s never boring to look at, that’s for sure!
