All Those Celeb Fragrances? Thank Jennifer Lopez

It seems there are celeb fragrances everywhere now, but once upon a time, Jennifer Lopez was the first to make it really big with her own perfume. One source says all those celebrity scents “started with the launch of Glow by J.Lo in 2002, which sold $78 million before 2003.”

Now it seems like everybody and their mother have scents. Even so, J-Lo’s “Glow” is still one of the best selling fragrances around. Jen worked on everything from the scent to the packaging. (And yes, that curved bottle is inspired by her amazing bod.) The J-Lo Beauty site recently made a clip honoring the five year anniversary of Glow.
