Jennifer Lopez Embarassed About Reality Show Hoo-ha

Well this whole reality hoopla is driving everyone crazy. First, they say Jennifer Lopez was going to do a reality show. Then, they backed off, saying it was not really a reality show but more about her fragrance.

When I first heard about the reality show stuff, I was surprised. Marc Anthony insists on privacy in his personal life and Jennifer Lopez has really followed that example as well. So I wondered why now (after having twins) would they want to bring cameras into their house and do the whole reality show craziness.

According to one source, TLC announced something different than what J-Lo had originally intended. Perhaps it was wishful thinking on the network to say she was going to do reality TV? In the press released they said, “the series will deliver a slice of [Jennifer's] life that audiences have never seen before, as she takes on her career and launches a new fragrance while trying to juggle her new responsibilities as a first time mom.”

I can see how this whole thing got blown out of proportion. After all, Jen will probably talk about motherhood a bit, but that doesn’t mean she’d let cameras in her house following her around.

After the TLC press release came out, Jen said, “I wanted to die.”

I can imagine. Now I understand why Marc was so cranky the other day when someone asked him about the show.
