Dayanara Torres, ex-wife of Marc Anthony, has gained some flack of late for slipping the news of J-Lo’s pregnancy when Marc and Jen were trying to keep it to themselves. An accident? Maybe.
Dayanara won the 1993 Miss Universe title but has since struggled with work. The Inquirer reports that Dayanara will now have a part on the soap Watch Over Me, where she’ll play a woman who’s the inamorata of a wealthy, powerful man. So, what’s her dramatic problem in the soap’s story? She has a romantic change of heart when her lover’s bodyguard also falls in love with her!”
The mag also says this role is important for Dayanara because “Jennifer is definitely a bigger draw than Dayanara, so Ms. Torres needs this show to at least remain in public view.”

Jennifer is definitely a bigger draw than Dayanara, so Ms. Torres needs this show to at least remain in public view.
She’s a beautiful lady, but I don’t see how this soap will help her career much. Dayanara needs to stop worrying about Jennifer and just move on with her own life and her beautiful kids. Jennifer is sooo far ahead of her celebrity-wise, it doesn’t even make sense to try to compete. I wish her the best with her new gig, though.

Exactly. Dayanara is her own person and needs to celebrate her own unique gifts instead of constantly worrying about J-Lo.

hey you guys, dayanara doesn’t mind j.lo or her ex-husband at all. she already have moved on a long time ago……yes j.lo is more famous than her coz she is the first one to enter showbiz earlier, but dayanara well, who knows, might be one of the biggest,brightest stars in hollywood….. and besides j.lo’s popularity is fading, her movies were and are flop, her albums sucks!!!! dayanara is a beauty queen while j.lo is a butt queen…hehehehe
