On Why Cris Judd Should Thank Jennifer Lopez
March 22, 2008 by Cherie
J-Lo’s ex Cris Judd has recently sent out his support of Jen as a new mom, and it appears he’s been keeping very busy since two broke up. Cris met Jen on the set of “My Love Don’t Cost a Thing” where he was one of her back up dancers. Now, he’s not only a judge on “Your Mama Don’t Dance” but he’s also stretching his acting chops as well.
According to the National Ledger, Cris just completed Goyband, “about an aging pop star in a boy band, with Adam Pascal from Rent.”
Here’s Adam explaining the title of the film. (Try and ignore the ridiculous gum chewing.)
Cris plays a “converted Orthodox Jewish gay guy who is really flamboyant.” He said it was a lot of fun to play.
At this point, Cris has to be thanking J-Lo. I wrote an article a while back as to why people should thank their ex’s, because I feel like every person you date ends up teaching you something new and in the end you get the lesson you were meant to get. If you keep learning, you get to the right person eventually.
While Cris is still looking for the right girl, I have to believe the fifteen minutes of fame he received as being “Mr. Jennifer Lopez” has given him a push careerwise. Can’t argue with that.
