J-Lo Vs. the Former Mrs. Anthony
I know that J-Lo wanted to keep her pregnancy until wraps for quite a while (which is why she refused to comment despite her growing belly), but I hadn’t realized until today that it was actually Marc Anthony’s ex wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, who accidentally shared the secret.
This makes me wonder if it was really an accident or if she really just didn’t care what she was saying. Hmmmmm?
On a related note, while J-Lo is getting lots of press about her babies, one thing bugs me in that instead of just saying that Jennifer Lopez delivered twins, they have to go into Marc Anthony’s whole paternity-related history. Like this post from NJ.com:
“The girl, weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz., was born first, at 12:12 a.m., and her brother followed 11 minutes later, weighing 6 lbs. Anthony has two children from his previous marriage to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres (who mistakenly spilled the beans about the pregnancy while Lopez was still keeping it a secret), and one child from another previous relationship.”
I never gave much thought to the first Mrs. Marc Anthony in all this, but I wonder if her and J-Lo get along? I wonder if Marc knows how to keep the peace? I’d heard that Marc dated J-Lo first and said that she was his perfect woman, but at the time things didn’t work out. They broke up and then he married Torres.
But maybe I’m on the wrong track here. Maybe the real question is: How does a guy that looks like Marc Anthony get two great women like Torres and J-Lo?

I think Dayonara is mostly upset because Marc got together with Jennifer while they were still married. She had just had a baby (or was she still pregnant?!?!). It’s a bit rough - ouch!
Still, I hope they have all moved on and that Dayonara’s slip wasn’t intentional…

Ooop - yep that would upset me, too. I’d heard that J-Lo was Marc’s dream girl, but hopefully he wasn’t pining for her the whole time he was married to Dayonara.

I am so pleased that all of these celebraties are having healthy babies and they can afford luxuary suites in hospitals,elective caesarian sections,opulent nursery suites,and with all the sets of twins probably infertility treatments. It’s only too bad that so many women in this country can not even afford pre-natal care and out of the goodness of others have 1 new set of clothing to take their infant (if it survives) home.
Aren’t we getting away from what is really important, just to show what those over-paid and self-centered “stars” do for themselves?
