She was promoting her new movie Out of Sight, and was very cute and chatty. She does a little dance with Jay before she sits down, and then talks about how she’s single again and what type of guy she’s looking for. She says she doesn’t like the pretty boys, wants someone with a strength of character, and someone that makes her laugh. She also says she likes the Latino guys.
I’d say she’s got all that and more with Marc Anthony!

Jennifer Lopez is giving back. The new mom has always cared about kids, but having her own now definitely makes her look at the world differently. J-Lo announced yesterday that she’ll “host and help coordinate the third Noche de Ninos benefit gala” which will be held October 11th at the Nokia Center. Jen also plans on performing, along with her hubby Marc Anthony and Alejandro Sanz, among others.
Jen was “Noche de Ninos’ first honoree in 2004,” said her twins have inspired her to do more. She said she’s worked hard all her life and wants to pass along that work ethic to her babies, but also wants to use her wealth and influence to make the world a better place.

Jennifer Lopez went with Marc Anthony to his Univision Radio Special Concert at Gotham Hall Monday in New York. They first attended the Christian Dior Cruise 2009 Collection at Gustavino’s with Jen’s sister Linda, then headed over to the concert. Just another day for Mr. and Mrs. Anthony!

Jennifer Lopez and her sister Linda attended the Christian Dior Cruise 2009 Collection at Gustavino’s yesterday in New York City. Jen attended the show and then went to Marc Anthony’s Univision Radio Special Concert at Gotham Hall.
She looks lovely in a light teal color dress and shoes with a white coat with fur trim. Very stylish and yet reminiscent of 50’s Dior.

It’s like the equivalent of getting a tatoo with your lover’s name on it. Sure, you think it will last forever, but will it? Really?
In the case of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, it didn’t. And it was unfortunate enough that they starred in two ridiculous movies together (Gigli and Jersey Girl), but they had to do that video together.
(Incidentally, Kevin Smith, if you are reading this, I would like my $4 and two hours of my life back for watching Jersey Girl.)
The rotten movies were one thing, but the video for Jenny from the Block was something else. It showed Ben and Jen avoid paparazzi and smootching, which was fine, but then came that scene on the boat where Ben is rubbing oil on J-Lo’s back and stroking her lovely behind.
It’s an image none of us can get out of our minds, including, apparently, Ben Affleck. Ben says, “If I have a big regret, it was doing the music video. But that happened years ago. I’ve moved on.”
Apparently not if you’re still grousing about it. And he is grousing, IMHO. A source says “Affleck insists he isn’t blaming Lopez for his career nosedive: “It not only makes me look like a petulant fool (to blame Lopez), but it surely qualifies as ungentlemanly? For the record, did she hurt my career? No.”
I would say not, Ben. Your terrible acting roles have hurt your career, although I understand how being married to another Jennifer while Jenny From the Block comes on the TV once in a blue moon can make things difficult.
It seems both Ben and Jen have learned a lot from their public relationship as they both remained fairly mum on what’s happening with their current marriages.
Learning from one’s mistakes? Priceless.

Well, we knew she couldn’t just sit at home with her feet up. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Jennifer Lopez is launching a new men’s fragrance in September. This may be the fragrance behind all those crazy reality show rumors. After all, a fragrance takes about two years to create, and that’s what J-Lo really wanted to show on her TLC program.
She launched Deseo for Women last year, and is following it up with one for men titled (aptly enough) Deseo for Men.
Why the name Deseo? According to Jen it’s because “Deseo means desire. Desire is a universal word that expresses passion between two people. I wanted to take this meaning and put it behind the idea of one desiring another. The smell is warming and creates a provocative and sensual texture.”
So if a guy wears Deseo for Men and attracts a girl wearing Deseo for Women…… oooh la la….. can you imagine what happens next?
